If you are in the market for high grade MP5 airsoft guns you need to look no further then the galaxy G5K. Below will will offer our review of the galaxy G5K MP5 personal defense weapon, or PDW as it is commonly known.

To start with the first thing that will impress you about this gun is the price, most online retailers will offer it for under $100. But do not be fooled by the low prices because unlike other guns in this price range this is not a plastic low grade weapon but rather a full metal solidly built soft air gun that looks and feels like the real thing. more

When you first pick it up you will be amazed by the weight of the gun for its size, this is due to the amount of metal used in its construction. You will also notice how tight it fits together and how solid it feels when you hold it. You will feel no loose handles or grips or rattles with this weapon. In fact even the included 240 round magazine snaps tightly into place with little to no wobble.

Out of the box using.2 gram BB’s this air soft gun will shoot 320-330 feet per second with a rate of fire that is in the range of 9-11 rounds per second. In tests we were able to accurately shoot out to a range of about 75 feet, after that accuracy degraded quickly. Although if you want an MP5 airsoft gun you realize that they are meant for close quarter battle and not long range shots!

No honest review would be complete without pointing out something that was not liked about the product. Although it was very hard to find something we did not like about this gun it would have to be the paint on the firing switch looked old and faded right out of the box. Although not a big problem or one that will affect performance it is still worth mentioning.

When it comes to high grade mp5 airsoft guns the galaxy G5K really stands out from the rest of the crowd. With great construction, low price and good performance it makes perfect sense for anyone who wants to inexpensively get into air soft and have a weapon that can advance with them through the hobby.

If you have played paintball, or maybe if you’re just beginning, you might want your own paintball gun. While paintball markers can range from about $200 to more than $1000 dollars, having an idea of how often you will paintball can affect the kind of gun you buy.

1. Price: Some guns are drastically more expensive, and for good reason. If you’re just beginning your paintball career and you want a gun, don’t spend more than $500. But if you’re a seasoned vet, the features you want should help you decide how much you want to spend. The more guns you’ve played with, chances are the better an idea you will have of what you want. more

2. Manual or Automatic: Pump guns have fewer moving parts, which means fewer mechanical problems. Typically these guns are quieter and can be more accurate, but a semi-auto is easier to reload and shoot, which means more stealth.

3. Strengths: Determine what you want from your gun. If accuracy is most important, choose a marker that can hit targets from far away. If reliability is crucial, look for a reputable name brand. Once you have your own gun, you will need to take care of it, so remember that it’s important to be able to clean your gun easily.

4. CO2: If you have constant air as opposed to cartridges, your air will last longer, but you will need to refill your tank after about 400 shots. Cartridges last for about 25 shots, but you can have many of them. Hpa is another option, but may be more difficult to find refills for.

5. Loader: The size of your loader determines a lot about how you play. If you like to shoot in rapid bursts in close contact, you may want a larger loader to hold more paintballs. Remember that the bigger the loader, the heavier it is. If you’re a sniper, you probably want a small, light loader.

6. Barrel: Like the loader, the longer the barrel, the heavier it is. What you give up with a shorter barrel is accuracy. If you want to invest, a rifled barrel with grooves inside makes the paintball go farther and shoot more accurately without the awkward weight and length of a longer barrel. Ported barrels have holes around the tip to allow some pressure to release, which means a quieter shot. Don’t get a barrel with more than 4 inches of porting, or else you will lose CO2.

7. Paint: Choose paint that fits accordingly with your barrel. If your paintballs are too small, you will lose accuracy.

8. Upgrades: Once you have your gun, you can begin to add accessories to it. A sniper scope, a new barrel system, and hand guards are just some of the features that are easy to add.

Play around with your gun and figure out how to assemble and disassemble it. Understand its features and how to use them. Feeling comfortable with your gun is the first step to being a paintball pro.

Airsoft by definition is a sport where players simulate military or law enforcement combat by using airsoft guns (which look a lot like real guns, to add to the realism) and other airsoft gear. The game of airsoft was developed in Japan, where firearms were (and still are) almost impossible to get without resorting to illegal means. An alternative was developed, and that alternative was airsoft. Because of this, it is no surprise that airsoft is actually most popular in East Asian countries such as China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea (North Korea is more interested in using real guns!) more

Unlike paintball, it is incredibly hard to tell if somebody has been hit. No splatters are made on the skin or clothes, and unless the person screams in agony or pain, you will not know if they are hit. That is why the game of airsoft relies on the “Honor System”, where players lift their gun up and say, “Hit”. Also, one player on each team is usually designated as a medic, to revive players so they can resume play. Weapon hit rules vary depending on the game. Usually, a weapon being hit is the same as the player being hit, but if the person has a sidearm, rules can be modified so that the person just is not allowed to use their primary and must instead only use the sidearm.

The three types of airsoft guns are spring, electric, and gas. Spring guns are usually cheap but can get very expensive if they fire at a high FPS. Electric, also known as AEG, guns are powered by a battery and the main advantage is that they are automatic, but are generally not very powerful unless upgraded. Gas guns are the most powerful, and gases supported include carbon dioxide, propane, green gas, red gas, and high pressure air (HPA).
